Tanyang Gongfu Black Tea
Tanyang Gongfu is a grade of black tea from Tongmu (Wuyishan) and Fu'an, Fujian. Congou style; the historic Fujian export black. Within black tea the grade is set by cultivar, origin and finishing, so the contract must name it exactly and add moisture, roast or smoke where relevant, the residue standard by destination and packing. ODM Tea quotes Tanyang Gongfu against a written specification, with the producer and its relationship to ODM Tea named in the quotation.

What must a Tanyang Gongfu contract specify?
Beyond the code Tanyang Gongfu itself: the grade origin (Fu'an, Ningde), moisture at or below 7.0%, a broken-and-fannings ceiling, the residue standard named by destination jurisdiction — for Uzbekistan that is Uzbek national requirements (EAEU observer state — TR CU and the EAC mark do not apply), the packing net weight and the Incoterm. Finishing decides the cup once pluck and origin are fixed, so roast, smoke or scenting rounds belong in the contract where they apply. Residue is the clause that stops containers at destination and the one most often left generic.
