The best teas for Moroccan mint tea, ranked
Moroccan mint tea — atay — is made with Chinese green tea, fresh spearmint and sugar, brewed strong and poured from height. Gunpowder and Chunmee grades are the teas the trade uses. This list ranks five grades for atay by how well they carry mint and sugar, how they hold up to a second pot, and their price position.
