Sourcing and refining, disclosed
Gunpowder is not a Fujian tea; it comes from the Pingshui belt around Shaoxing in Zhejiang. Chunmee comes from Zhejiang and Anhui. Both are bought at origin, then refined, screened and fired to the written contract specification by the refining party named in the quotation — the same specification discipline that governs the Fujian book. We say this openly because origin substitution is the most common complaint in this trade, and a buyer on the other side of the world cannot verify it alone.

Why disclose sourcing at all?
Sourcing is disclosed because presenting Zhejiang gunpowder as Fujian-grown is the misrepresentation buyers most often meet, and disclosure costs nothing that is real. Grade, moisture and residue are fixed by the written contract specification either way; only the origin claim differs, and it is made only where it is true.
