The range splits into two tracks: five Fujian-origin categories bought by origin name, two green grades sourced from Zhejiang and Anhui, an organic enquiry track and a private-label packing track. The table below gives the origin, track and HS heading for each, and the grade index takes each line down to its individual grade codes.
White Tea
Bought by origin name in Russian and North American specialty channels, where the plucking standard sets the grade.
Oolong Tea
Fujian ships two thirds of China's oolong exports; the cultivar, origin county and roast level are named on the contract.
Black Tea
The category first made in Tongmu, Wuyishan: Lapsang Souchong, Jin Jun Mei and Tanyang Gongfu, smoked or unsmoked as the contract states.
Green Tea
Fujian's second-largest export category by volume, and the unscented base under every jasmine grade on this site.
Jasmine Tea
Fuzhou is the reference origin for scented tea; the contract states the scenting rounds, the base grade and whether blossom stays in the finished tea.
Gunpowder Green Tea
Bought on grade consistency and residue compliance: 3505 is the Morocco and Senegal reference, and 9375 to 9575 step down in pellet size.
Chunmee Green Tea
The grade that travels furthest — West Africa and Central Asia buy from the same refining standard.
Organic Programme
For buyers that require certified production, traceability and destination-specific residue controls. Certification scope is confirmed per quotation.
Private Label & Packing
The same leaf ships under your own brand once the pack carries the destination's mandatory label content and the duty line that goes with it.
Which line fits which market?
Gunpowder and Chunmee carry the West and North African volume trade — Morocco alone took 91,000 tonnes of Chinese tea in 2025, 99.85% of it green. White tea, oolong, black tea and jasmine go into Russia, Central Asia, the United States and Japan, where Fujian's export price per tonne runs at a multiple of China's USD 3,691.2 national average.

What is the difference between gunpowder and Chunmee?
Gunpowder is Chinese green tea rolled into tight pellets that release slowly across repeated infusions. Chunmee is an open, slender leaf — the name means eyebrow tea — that opens faster and gives a lighter, clearer light-gold liquor. Gunpowder grades run 3505, 9375, 9475 and 9575; Chunmee grades run 41022, 9371, 9366, 9367, 9368 and 9369.
Which origins are represented in the range?
The Fujian-origin lines name Fuding, Zhenghe, Pinghe, Anxi, Wuyishan, Tongmu, Fu'an and Fuzhou. Gunpowder and Chunmee name Zhejiang and Anhui. The producer or supplier relationship is confirmed in the quotation rather than inferred from the category.
What HS code does each product ship under?
Green and white tea ship under 0902.20 in bulk and 0902.10 in immediate packings of 3 kg or less. Oolong and black tea ship under 0902.40 in bulk and 0902.30 in packings of 3 kg or less. Packing size, not product type, decides which of the two lines applies.
What moisture specification applies?
At or below 7.0% for green, white, oolong and black tea. Scented jasmine tea runs at or below 8.5%, because the scenting cycle reintroduces moisture that the final drying brings back down.
